Fun in Naples with the Witts!

We went down to listen to some tunes in Naples with Kevin's family and it was so great!  All the cousin's played together, I can't wait until Charlotte can join in!

Everyone chipped in and brought some food and wine...so we ate dinner, chatted and had a wonderful night!

The funniest incident of the night by FAR was when Reagan was taking pictures of Bailey and Bailey started posing like a little model, sweater off the shoulder...the whole bit!  They were so adorable!  After Reagan took the picture she would turn the camera around and show us that is was a good picture!     

I can't wait until next month when we go again :)

Our 6 Year Anniversary!!

Such a great night!  I can't believe we've been together 9 years!  My heart is full :)

It was a great relaxing day!

We had such a great day celebrating our 6 year anniversary!  We went to the park for a little bit and then we dropped Charlotte off with Grandma and Grandpa and headed down to Pine Avenue!  It was really hard for me to leave Charlotte for the first time, I cried for a smidge but then I let it go and had a great night!  I knew she was in great hands with Grandma Beth and Grandpa Ken!  I didn't even call home to check on them :)

Kev and I tried a new restaurant (new to us!), Alegria.  It was delicious!  We ordered way to much food and had lots of sweet Sangria.  Then we went and watched The Hangover, I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time!  It was a perfect night, no rushing...just enjoying.  

This was our first date night since Charlotte arrived and we decided that we'll make time for at least one date night a month, we needed some alone time!

When we picked up Charlotte, we found out that she was great, no crying...just a wonderful baby for Grandma and Grandpa :)  I love that kid! 

Best Invention! I love it!

We used the bumbo for the first time today.  It was hilarious!  She loved it for about 5 minutes and then I think she got tired of holding her head up!  But it was fun while it lasted!  Thanks Kim and Lisa for the awesome gift...oh and Melvin too, if you're speaking to Lisa again!!

P.S.  Becky you know I love it because it's teal :)

Strolling and Savoring!

We had a fun night on 2nd street at their Stroll and Savor.  Sooo much yummy food!  I haven't been this full in a long time.  The diet officially starts tomorrow!  We ran into some of Sally's friends, but left before Sally arrived!  Sad!  But we did have some time to taste my competition at Frosted and mmm...they were good!  I do love a good cupcake!   

We also got Charlotte finger printed and her picture taken, so that in case of an emergency we have all of her info on file.  Pray that never happens!! 

Only 4 more days until mine and Kevin's 6 year wedding anniversary!!  I can't wait!!

Visiting with Grammy!

My Mom and her husband Sal came over for a quick visit and it was great!  Charlotte had changed a little since she last saw her, so lil C did lots of showing off!  She's a champ at holding her head up and smiling (my favorite).  We had a little time for some cute pictures too!

Right before the line dancing began...super adorable!!

We went out for a family night with Keith, Carmen and Lucas, it was SO much fun!  We went to the park and let Lucas run wild :)  He tried to share his cheesy puffs with anybody he could find!  Charlotte snoozed  through most of the night!  She's been so worn out lately that she's sleeping an extra one to two hours a night!  It's been bliss!

Carmen did a little boot scootin' boogie which was fun to watch!  And the boys walked all the way to McDonald's to get us all a little food!  We appreciated it!    

It's so fun hanging out with Kevin's family and watching our little peas play together.  They'll both be running around by next summer!  I can't wait!!  Well, I can wait...but I am prepared!! 

P.S.  Charlotte is SO close to rolling over...she was all the way on her side tonight...just one arm holding her back!!

Well, I always swore that I wouldn't take Charlotte to a restaurant until she was like 1 or so!  But we went to lunch with Kevin's Fam a few days ago, so we took her out with my family too.  I decided that I was right the first time!  No more dinners out...she's just too little!!  Ruby's was a great place to have a crying baby, because it was so loud in there!  Thanks Marlene and Sandy for walking around with her and letting Kev and I scarf down our dinner before we took over! 

Since we were down there, we hit up the street fair...again!  We're going to be Huntington Beach regulars pretty soon!  Daniel bought Charlotte the cutest headband!  And I found a cute beanie for future windy beach nights!!

Daniel was dying to wear baby C in the front back, and today we made it happen!  She was so happy in there!  We loaded her up with sunscreen and a super adorable sun hat and hit 2nd street!  Charlotte was the best baby ever; she loved her front pack so much she fell asleep in it and was just plain adorable!  

I was so sad to find that my FAVORITE store on the street had closed it's doors, The Femme Maison :(  I was so sad!  I hate the recession!      

But man, what a fun action packed day!

P.S.  An older gal heckled us and told me we shouldn't have the baby out and about, that she was too fair!  Kevin took the time to inform her that in fact she was wearing a bottle of sunscreen and would be just fine!  I love my hub!

P.P.S.  Charlotte is still just as white as she was before her 2nd Street debut!  Why are people so opinionated and annoying??

Oh Julia!  I would have sworn that bib wouldn't fit!!

Daniel's here!  He flew in today to spend a few days hanging out with me and Charlotte.  We have big plans for these next couple of days!!  Charlotte promised to be on her best behavior!

My Aunt Marlene decided to bring her 5 Grandkids to Lakewood and take them all to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm!  Brave woman!!  We had a welcome BBQ at my dad's house.  It was so great to see all of my gorgeous cousins :)

Charlotte's 3 Months Old...are you SERIOUS!!

I can't believe it's been 3 months already (I say this every time)!  Time is just flying right on by and it's been wonderful!  

This week Charlotte started liking tummy time, finally!  She's a pro at holding her head up now.  It sure is big, so she's gets tired after a few minutes!  She's smiling crazy still...but only on her own terms.  Charlotte is very independent and likes to play under her tree, but loves someone to sit next to her so she can look over and smile at them :)  She's loves to move her arms and legs like crazy (such a wiggler) and always looks at the Toucan that's hooked onto her tree.  She used to just stare at it but now she reaches her hand up and holds onto it, with her left hand!  We might have a lefty, just like Grandpa Ken and Uncle Daniel!  

We've been having lots of great time as a family and I'm sure I'll remember these days forever!  I just love it!

Kevin and I went down to to HB Main street tonight and did a little shopping and a little chatting!  They had the best strawberries and other fresh, local veggies...mmm!  Best of all, one of my favorite friends, Becky and her adorable daughter Riley, joined us for some family fun!  I love summer!! 

Becky, who is an AMAZING photographer, taught me how to take pictures that isolate one color...I am SO excited!  I can't wait to start experimenting!  I expect Charlotte to make many costume changes tomorrow for a mother daughter photo op day!

We had a real low key 4th of July.  Kevin had to work...booo!  But we went and visited our neighbors at their legendary party, so fun!  And then went over to my Dad's place for some good food, fireworks and lots of wine!

Next year...I'm working on a block party for our street!  I'm a woman on a mission!
