My First Dodger Tee!

Kevin watched Charlotte while I ran some errands this morning. And when I came home he had dressed her in a little Dodger Tee! She looked so adorable I couldn't stand it! I can't wait to take her to her first Dodger game tonight! Yeah!!

My friend Becky came over today with her sweet little daughter Riley. Me and Becky have such an awesome friendship and I'm excited for the days when our daughters will be able to play together! Charlotte's a little too small to get into any trouble with Riley just yet, but I know they will have tons of fun soon enough!

Okay Becky! Let's book our apple picking day already!! Family day!

Our First Chiropractic Visit!

Just hanging out with Daddy!

Kevin, Charlotte and I went to see Dr. Gina for the first time! It was such a great experience. Kevin's shoulder had been bothering him, my back was still hurting since having Charlotte and Charlotte, well who knows with her!

Charlotte went first. It was so amazing to watch! She adjusted a part of her spine that is connected to her stomach. Dr. Gina said that she will stop spitting up now! That would be wonderful :)

Kevin went next and she told him that he's going to need to come back because it's pretty messed up! And me, well apparently my tailbone was broken during labor! I knew I was in more pain than I should have been! I have to go back soon too, it's going to be a long process to get mine fixed too..ugh.

All in all it was a great day! Dr. Gina said Charlotte was the first baby in her 15 years experience that didn't cry while being adjusted! I knew she was amazing!

Thanks Sarah for posting all the Chiropractic videos on Facebook! It totally made me take Charlotte in and I felt confident because I already knew what was going to happen. I super appreciate it!!

Charlotte Rose you're 5 months old!!

The aftermath of the raspberry! Oh baby drool, it's on everything I own!

5 Months old! Oh Charlotte, you are just more adorable everyday and I enjoy all of our time together so much!

Lots of things have changed in the last month...you discovered your tongue and all you want to do is blow raspberries! You have begun to develop quite the sense of humor :) You know that when you blow raspberries it makes your mom laugh and when you're done, you have such a feeling of accomplishment and a big smile usually follows!

What happened last month?? You went on your first run with daddy (followed by many more!), you wore your first bikini, watched your Dad run his first half marathon, learned how to make your parents laugh and are now on your way to your first Chiropractic visit!

You're an amazing little bug to watch, love and play with. I thank my lucky stars everyday that you made your way into our lives. Happy Birthday lil C!

Bring on the High Chair!!

We finally put Charlotte in her high chair for the first time. There were so many buckles and latches, it was worse than her car seat! But after she was adjusted, she was great! She ate her 2 Tablespoons and was ready for more! For some reason, when I feed her the girls a ridiculous mess! And when Kev feeds her, she's clean as a whistle!! As you can see...I was feeding her! Haha!

Charlotte's Favorite Thing to Do!!

Charlotte just LOVES to suck her toes! She just gets those toes and there and goes to town. These are definitely pictures that will come to haunt her in the future. And so it begins....

We went over to Grandma Beth and Grandpa Ken's house for a little birthday celebration for Sarah! Beth made some delicious tacos and a wonderful spice cake! Yum! There was lots of relaxing and wonderful family time. We had her party a little early because she has State Board tests next weekend, on her birthday...no fair!

We had a fun BBQ at my Dad's house to celebrate his 29th Birthday. It's so crazy to have a Dad younger than me :) We had a fun night eating hamburgers and hanging out with my cousin Vanessa and her adorable family!

Kevin's Half Marathon!

It was kinda hard to spot Kevin!

But there he is! Going strong at 4 miles....

The race took us all over Disneyland

And since you couldn't be at the finish line they had a big screen for us to look at...and they announced Kevin's name!! Yay!

Still so handsome after all that running, I lucked out in the husband category!! Congrats Kevin you did AMAZING!!

Today was the day! We got up at 3:15am, [gasp] packed up little C and headed down to Disneyland! Kevin had to be in his Corral at 5:00am! He went to sleep really early last night so he felt good this morning.

We met him at the 4 mile marker to root him on! Little C got a little sleepy and fell asleep on me while we were cheering on some of the other runners. When we saw Kev at the 4 mile marker, he looked great! Like he was just getting started!

The race was set up so that we couldn't really catch up with him anywhere else during the race so we headed down to the finish line...which was a madhouse! I had Charlotte in the stroller, but we pushed our way through and saw Kevin a few steps after he finished and boy, he looked strong! Like he could have easily gone a few more miles!

While I was waiting for Kevin to finish I ran into some really fun people! I even met a guy who had ran the Goofy marathon...1/2 marathon on Saturday and a full marathon on Sunday at Disney World, yes, I agree! That is ridiculously goofy!

It was such a well organized race! They had bands playing along the route, cheerleaders cheering them on and lots of other supporters. They got to run all throughout Disneyland, California Adventure and even round out the bases at Angel Stadium! I can tell Kevin had a great time and I was so happy to be there to cheer him to victory :) His finish time was 1 hour 57 minutes and 58 seconds! 9 minute miles Kevin, that's awesome!!

Yes, she has a wiener on her shirt, yes, she's wearing legwarmers and YES this is my favorite outfit of all time!!

Sooo...my good friend Becky gave Charlotte a pair of legwarmers while she was still in my belly and I kinda forgot about them. Then yesterday I was shopping for some cute 6 month clothes for little C and I found tons of legwarmers and I bought some more! When I got home from shopping I couldn't resist and I tried them on her...oh man, I was in heaven! She looked so cute! It makes me totally look forward to her ballet days!
