My birthday present came a little early and I just couldn't wait to ride it!! We went for a quick ride to the park and Lil C fell right asleep on the ride over! But we fed some baby ducks and had a blast!

Today was Charlotte's actual birthday, party behind us...we decided to go to the aquarium! She could not have loved it more!! What a great day! Daniel was still in town so he came along to help celebrate the day!

Charlotte went crazy for the birds at the aquarium! Daniel had never heard her laugh so hard! She was tickled with them to no end! She really loved splashing her hands in the touch pools too! She looked like she had a ball! And we all had a ball watching her!!

Charlotte Rose is one year old...it's so true when they said time flies! I feel like it was just a minute ago that I was holding her in my arms for the first time. I see newborns and I think, Charlotte was never that small!

This last year has made me into a new person, I've never thought that I could love someone so much. To hear her say mama the first time, melted my heart...her first smile brought tears to my eyes...her first hug, warmed my heart...her sweet kisses, make me laugh...her giggles are a sound I hope I never forget!

I thought that I would be so sad to see her turn into a little toddler, but all I can think about is where I want to take her, the things I want to show her, and the experiences we'll share!

Charlotte, I look forward to every minute, every day, every month, every year of your life! I love you with my whole heart!

Rainy Days and New Friends!

It's been raining, raining, raining for the last 5 days! I love the rain, so I haven't minded it one bit! But it has kept us indoors quite a bit!

On Friday morning my neighbors woke me and C up to tell us that the tree in front of our house was tilting and I should probably move my car so it didn't get smashed! The root was sticking WAY out and the tree looked a little shaky! The city checked it out on Friday and took off most of the branches and came back on Monday to take the whole tree down! I've never liked that old tree so I'm kinda stoked to get a new one! Yay!

Going doooown....

This root wasn't there yesterday!!

They trimmed the right side of the tree on Friday to take off some of the weight.

It was pouring while they were cutting. His little bucket had inches of water at the bottom!

They came back on Monday to cut the whole thing down! Timber!!!

They were done is less than 10 minutes! Crazytown!

Just a little stump on Loomis! I'm going to plant some roses and other flowers! I can't wait for them to grind it down!

Sitting up, Standing up!

So, Charlotte started crawling and then the next day she was pulling herself up on her knees and two days later she was standing on her own and now she's cruising all over the house...holding on to the couch or our ottoman. I can't believe it! She looks so proud of herself, but she can't quite figure out how to get back down!

She loves looking at herself in that little mirror! She'll even figured out how to pull off the mic and shake it! Such a big girl!!

Sarah's White Coat!

We were excited to see Sarah get her white coat tonight; she's another step closer to becoming a chiropractor! So awesome! Getting the white coat was symbolic of her start at the clinic on campus. She'll finally be able to get in touch with clients and start testing out all that she's been learning!

Congrats Sarah! We were so happy to see you get your coat and to celebrate at dinner!

Happy 9 Months Baby Girl!

Charlotte, you're 9 months old today! It's crazy to think that you've been here in my arms for the same amount of time that you were in my belly! 18 months, a year and a half! I really can't remember life without you! Well, I do remember the naps :)

You started crawling in the midnight hour of your 8th month...I'm not sure if I mentioned it before but Kevin was obsessed, I mean obsessed with Charlotte crawling. He was afraid she would skip it entirely and go straight to walking. But wheewww...he's happy as can be to see your little self crawling all over house and home!

Well, in the last month you celebrated your first Christmas and New Year's...you didn't make it up until midnight (Thank Goodness!) but you made it though the Rose Parade :) Visited Kidspace and had your first celebrity siting!

Now that January is here...I'm in full birthday planning mode! I can't believe that you'll be 1 year old in just 3 short months. You are turning into such a little girl, so independent, a wonderful cuddler (my favorite feature) and you're getting quite a bit of hair! Finally!

Happy 9 Months Charlotte! You're a beautiful, loving little lady :)
