My best friend Becky, you are so talented!

My best friend Becky took some time out of her Sunday to take lots of amazing pictures of little Charlotte, Kev and I. Lil C didn't want to crack one smile. She didn't want to nap that morning and was just tired and a little cranky. I left the park thinking that the pictures wouldn't be that cute because she wouldn't smile! But man, Becky did some magic and my baby girl looks as cute as ever!

Thanks Becky for being such a wonderful friend, I love these pictures and will look at them always and be grateful to you :)

Oh and Becky sent me a disk of 247 pictures from that day! It was incredibly hard to pick out my favorites!! I'm going to make an album of just these pictures...I've narrowed it down to about 80!!

My mom and her husband came over for a little bit to visit with Charlotte. They got her two adorable dresses from Hawaii and a super soft hippo. Lil C is all about that Hippo! She loves it tons and tons!

Rained Out...

The Witt Pumpkin Patch!

So, we were going to the Pumpkin Patch today...but we got rained out!! Sad! But we made the best of it....we made our own patch! I was laughing so hard when we took these pics! Charlotte's face was priceless! Oh man, she was just adorable! Love her!

First Rain!

Charlotte loves looking out our front window, at cars, cats, people....a tree! And today it was the rain! She wanted to sit up there all day long! I was happy to oblige! I love the rain so much too. I can not WAIT for us to get on our galoshes and play in a some puddles!

My Sweet Charlotte Rose is 6 Months Old!!

My sweet girl hit 6 months today and she is just a ball of fun! I remember when she was just days old, Kevin would say that he couldn't wait for her to be 6 months old...it was the magic age for some reason! But man, Charlotte is smiling, happy and sitting up now, and well, it does seem to be the magic age! I love it too!

So in the last month, Charlotte decided that she can sit up. There were no signs of her even trying and then boom, there she was sitting up like a pro! She can roll over both ways now and she laughs at her mommy and daddy when we do silly things :) When she cries now it sounds like mamamama and it breaks my heart. But I also wonder...does that count as her first word?! I say yes! Lil C started eating fruits and vegetables! Went to her first Dodger game, had her first baby sitter, went to the LA fair for the first time and sat in the sand for the first time too!

My favorite thing that happened over the last month? Two words, fish face! When she sees us eating or talking she just opens and closes her mouth over and over again, she looks just like a little fish! It just cracks me up! Oh and if you do the fish face to her...you are SURE to get a smile!

Happy mini birthday Charlotte! Already a half a year old, really?

The End of the Mobile!

Charlotte's been waking up from her naps and playing with her mobile, mostly just reaching up at it. But today, well...she pretty much pulled it down!! So...we'll see you later mobile, it was nice while it lasted :)

First Real Beach Trip!

Back home, cleaned up but she still insisting on catching some rays in Uncle Daniel's Sunnies!

My brother called me on Sunday and was like "Hey, what about a visit on Tuesday!" I was so game! It was a quick trip, just over a full day...but we maximized our time. We took Charlotte to her first beach adventure. She'd been to the beach once before but she never came out of her car seat...it was too cold!

Today she was alert and happy, taking everything in. She just kept picking up handfuls of sand and releasing them all over her jeans, sweatshirt pockets and every other crevice of her body! She needed a outfit and diaper change just to get rid of the sand! But of course will probably be finding it for the next few days :)

This was one of the first visits where I really think Charlotte recognized her Uncle. She warmed right up to him and was giving him mega smiles the whole visit. She has so much fun Uncle time to look forward too!

Sarah and Aaron invited us over for dinner and we were happy to come! Aaron barbequed some excellent steak and Sarah made a yummy dessert! I was a little sleepy, but it was great to hang out with the fam! Boy was it an action packed day!!

A Day at the LA Fair!!

She was such a trooper :) It was way crowded and noisy!

They had a kid's building that was Under the Sea themed...it was way cute :)

I loved looking at all the books and projects that the kids had sent in...I can't wait to see what Charlotte comes up with when she's older!

One of my favorite things to do is go to the fair. I loved going with my parents when I was younger. My mom would enter all sorts of crafty things in and she would win 9 times out of 10. It was always fun to hunt down her things among the other quilts and projects.

One of Kev and I's first dates was to the Orange County Fair, and he won me this octopus that I just adored! Almost as much as I adored him :)

Kev and I went to the fair last year while I was pregnant and we walked around, holding hands talking about how fun it would be to take our little girl to the fair this year. Charlotte's still so small, so she probably didn't have the most fun ever! But it was great to see her looking around and taking in the sites. I hope to take her every year and relish in the thought of all the awful rides, cow chip bingo, and pig races that we'll share together as a family.

Oh, and NEVER go to the fair on the very last day! It was crazy busy...yikes!
