Charlotte and I had the most relaxing morning...we got up at 8am, lil C had her bottle and then we played in bed for a couple hours and when she tuckered out she slept right next to me while I finished up some work on the computer. We didn't get out of bed until noon! It was the best ever! We did feel sad that Kevin had to work; we couldn't wait for him to get home!

After we got up Charlotte and I went out front and carved our pumpkins. Well C hung out in her exersaucer and we chatted while I carved our pumpkins :) She's the best company!

Then my friend's Val and Chad brought their son over and my cousin Julie came over too; we all went trick or treating and hung out. What a fun night!

Julie and I had lots of catching up to do and we stayed up until the weeee hours. Thank goodness for the time change!

It was such a Happy Halloween! Charlotte you were the cutest strawberry in the patch!

Becky came over today to hang out and she snapped some awesome pictures of our girls! As of right now, Charlotte tugs on Riley and pulls her hair. And well, Riley lets her! It will be so fun when they can run around together and get into lots of trouble! Just like their mommies!!

While my brother was working abroad in India he became fast friends with Tasja. She took him all over Europe in a few weeks and these last two weeks...he's taken her all over California! I was so excited to meet her! And she totally lived up to all of the hype! I can't wait to make a visit out to Germany so she can show us around! She wants to take lil C to Paris, and I can't object! It sounds like ridiculous amounts of fun!

Oh C! You are so tuckered out!

We went over to The Durnin's to celebrate Raif's first birthday! I can't believe he's one too! Wow! It was a great party...lots of super delicious food, family from up north and tons of adorable costumes! I hope Brenda has a costume party every year for his birthday! The night could not have been more fun! Raif was the cutest lobster of all time!!

Sick, Sick, Sicky

Poor Charlotte has just been so sad today. She has little bruises where her shots went in yesterday. And if you touch her anywhere NEAR them she breaks into a huge cry. I felt so bad for her last night, she just whimpered and whimpered and cried all night. So I got up and held her a rocked her until I just couldn't stay awake anymore. It just breaks my heart to see her hurting so bad.

Get better soon Charlotte, we miss your happy little face :)

P.S. I bought this shirt for her before she was even in my belly...I was destined for a little girl :)

Cat baby at the Doctor's!

Hey big girl!

She loved ripping up that paper!

We had to go straight to Charlotte's 6 month doctor's visit after the Pumpkin Patch! The doctor and all the gals in the office got a big kick out of her little cat nose and whiskers!

Charlotte weighed in at a whopping 17.2 lbs and a little over 26" long! She's in the 75 percentile for both height and weight. Doctor Hsu is super impressed with her sitting up, her happy demeanor and just about everything else! Her only advice was to start her on pureed meats. Charlotte loves food way more than she likes her bottle, so we have to switch around how we feed her to make sure she's drinking enough milk.

Lil C had to get four shots today and I felt so sad for her, I hated it! But she rebounded and is home with us getting lots of cuddles. Thank goodness that's over!!

We went to the Irvine Railroad Pumpkin patch and it was the most fun ever! They had tons of pumpkins and lots of fun stuff to do, hayrides, mazes and face painting! We did it all! I was most excited for the hayride, which did not disappoint :)

I hope to take lil C here every year! Thanks Carmen for letting us in on your favorite pumpkin patch! We love it too!
