Such a Different Life...

Charlotte is so enthralled when I'm on the computer whether I'm just typing an email or playing some ridiculous computer game! I just think it's so crazy that she's going to grow up with a computer where Kev and I had typewriters! I remember how exciting the Oregon Trail game was when I was in elementary school! Oh how far we've come :)

Peas!!

She was willing at first to try those green peas...

They looked okay? She was hungry!

She thought about it for a minute...

and decided she wasn't a HUGE fan!

She was a little more leery on the second and third bites!

She looked so sad!!

But she came around to those old peas! Such a love!

Our doctor wanted us to start introducing Charlotte to some veggies this month...so we did! She kinda looked like she was eating a sour lemon the whole time :) But she came around to them in the end. She's so good at trying new things...I hope it lasts, we have a lot more foods to taste!

Lots of Busy Busy Uncle Time!

Little C was so excited to hang out with her uncle Daniel!!!

He did a little feeding while I got ready to go to brunch...

She was quite a mess!!

Oh man, we were sooo starving!

She only grabbed at our food a couple of times...much better than Souplantation!!

She just wanted a little egg :)

I love this picture!!

Showing off in front of our boat :) Or some stranger's boat, whatever!

Daniel came into town for a few days and it was lucky that Kevin had the day off too! So we decided to head out to Schooner or Later for a little brunch. I love coming here, it's so gorgeous and the food is AMAZING!! When Daniel flew into town yesterday we hit up Souplantation and well, Charlotte decided that she wanted everything on our plates! It was quite a juggle! But today at Schooner, she did much better! She only swiped at our eggs a couple of times :)

Next stop...Starbucks! For a quick fuel injection before the park! Daniel is so busy and important...but looks great with a baby :)

Charlotte was so smitten with the grass! She just wanted to touch it and stare at it!

We were trying to get Charlotte to look at the camera...

Umm...nice try Kevin! But no dice!

Uncle Daniel said,"just let her do what she wants to do". So we did!

What are you guys looking at?

Before...

After! She was NOT loving it!

But Daddy made it all better!!

Uncle Daniel kept sticking his tongue out at her! She couldn't get enough!
What a great picture! She was so comfy :)

After brunch we went over to the park to hang out for a little bit. Charlotte was a little out of sorts at first but she warmed right up! Daniel was playing with her and she was having a ball! It must be nice to have so much attention all the time!! We went home to rest up for a little bit, we had lots more to do in the evening!

I LOVE this place! Especially at Christmas!!

It's very Ooh La La!

Daniel at I eating dinner at The Farm! Very delicious!

Kev and Dad, hanging out!

We had a little water show next to our table

Charlotte slept for the first part of dinner, but she was totally enthralled with the water show! Until it started to scare her because it got a little loud :(

Grandpa Larry walked around with Charlotte until we finished our dinner! Thanks Dad!

Daniel's trips are often short, but very action packed! I just love that he's in SF now so that he can come down when he likes! One of my brother's requests for his trip was that Kev and I book tickets to to come visit him in San Francisco...so we did! We'll be visiting him in early December! I am beyond excited! I can't wait to take Charlotte on her first trip :) I hope she does well on the plane! Yikes!!

Thanks Uncle Daniel for making the trip down! We love you tons and tons!!

Charlotte's Sitting up!!

Look at me! I'm sitting up!!

Uh-oooo

Send help! I'm going down!

Thanks Mom :)

I was on the phone with my brother yesterday and Charlotte sat up (for the first time!) for over 45 seconds. And then today she's just hangin' out, sittin' up...no problem! It's like she's been doing it her whole life, all 5 months of it! Before yesterday she's never sat up for even 1 second! Oh Charlotte, you and your bag of tricks, save something for Halloween!

Today was also the first day of Fall, so we decided to take her to the park and get some cute little Autumn shots of her. Here's the magic of Kevin's camera skills!

This is sooo Baby Gap of you Charlotte! I love it!

A little snuggle with my gal :)

She loves looking at her daddy!

She's a sitting up pro now!!

I see why people always want to grab baby cheeks now! They're adorable!

I'm not amused. Let's wrap this up.

Seriously, I'm done.

Charlotte, every day I marvel at the fact that Kevin and I made you; you are too beautiful for words.

Some of my favorite moments...

Charlotte sometimes wakes up when Kev leaves for work at 5:30am and when she does, I let her sleep next to me in bed, so we can keep each other company :) Nothing beats waking up to her sweet face in the morning. She's such a happy gal when she wakes up! A morning gal, just like her mommy!

Hand-Me-Downs!

I LOVE this shirt! And I can't wait until the pants fit :)

Some are a little better than others....

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for all the hand-me-down clothes they have given us! Charlotte wouldn't be nearly as well dressed without them! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

A Busy, busy Saturday!

We had a crazy busy day today! We dropped off birthday cupcakes in Carson at 1pm, wedding cupcakes in Huntington Beach at 2pm, Tallulah's first birthday party at 3pm! AND then...we let Grandma Beth and Grandpa Ken take Charlotte to Jaymee's 13th Birthday party while Kevin and I went to the Hollywood bowl for a date night! Whewww it was a crazy day! Here's the play by play...

Charlotte and I, gearing up for a big day! I love my little hula girl!

Are you guys ready yet?? Let's go to Tallulah's first Birthday Beach Bash already!

Oh, I just LOVE my daddy! Let's play all day!

Gorgeous Molly and her adorable daughter Tallulah!

Molly had a decorate your own cookie table! All the kids really loved it! What a great idea!

I think Bailey decided to try out the frosting, for quality purposes of course!

It was a little hot outside, and Charlotte decided to pass out! She's not used to the heat!

Grandma Beth and her hot little granddaughter!

All she wanted to do was have that water bottle in her mouth!

Wonderful Aunt Sally, doing a little aunting...as long as it doesn't include changing diapers...she's in!

Tallulah opening her gifts...she LOVED that little car!

Making our getaway to the Hollywood Bowl! See you later everyone!!

We went to a pre-concert dinner sponsered by Gallo. There was so much great food and of course...wine!!

Yummy desserts! Banana cream tart, chocolate brownie and a pecan tart...delish!

More wine please...make it a double!

3 glasses of wine later...

Kevin looks ready to go pick some grapes!

It was such a great night!

Cheers! We sat at a table with a DM from CVS, who kinda offered Kevin a job. Super flattering!

Mmmm...dessert and Moscato, two of my favorite things!

And then we went to the concert, Pink Martini!

It was a great venue, we really loved it!

We had a really great night, the cupcake drop offs all went smoothly. Tallulah's 1st Birthday party was a smash hit! Molly sure knows how to throw a party! She even gave each kid a little bucket with beach toys! I can't wait to use it next summer with Little C at the beach!

Date night was a BLAST! The preconcert dinner was spectacular and we drank our weight in wine! We had great seats for the concert. I had never heard of Pink Martini before but was happy to hear them. They sang songs in at least 5 different languages. It was very Jazzy with some Latin spice thrown in! Really beautiful! I will say, Hollywood Bowl...get a better parking system! It was awful! We waited in the lot for at least a half an hour before we were able to sit in bumper to bumper street traffic...oh LA, I love you but I hate you! Thank goodness Grandma and Grandpa were so understanding and didn't mind having Charlotte over a little longer than expected!

All in all, it was a great Saturday. So wonderful to see the family and also so great to spend a little alone time with the hub :) We bought a picnic basket at the Bowl Store for our picnic on the beach date night next month! I can't wait!

I'm off to bed! I have to be up early to bake some cupcakes for the LA Galaxy, it's going to be another busy week :)
